With a completely new setup to what was previously run on the car for this years time attack, Mike had some learning to do. Slowly learning the car and picking up the pace, by Qualifying he was leading the field.
Then came the final, which after just 5 mins was Red Flagged and cancelled due to a Focus RS crash at hall bends. This took out some important arm-co, which ended the day. Whoever set times and whatever they were, STUCK. Meaning Mike walked away with a 2nd place.
Never is the way to do it, but its all points!
The Focus that crashed got 1st at 1:38.065, with Mike coming in 2nd at 1:38.278.
